Cover image for project: NEXUS 5W2H IN PROGRESS

Technical summary

NEXUS plugin that applies the 5W2H methodology (What, Why, Where, When, Who, How, How Much) to create action plans with clear responsibility delegation and cost control — with 1-click conversion into a NEXUS task, Markdown snippets for meetings and financial tracking of the estimated investment.

Executed scope

  • plugin.json: v1.0.0, slug nexus-5w2h ("Matriz 5W2H & Delegação"), "Gestão & Produtividade" category (Gestão & Produtividade tab, clipboard icon, is_core: false).
  • Settings (DB::getConfig('nexus_5w2h_settings')): currency_symbol (R$), auto_create_task (false), default_project (Geral) — saved with empty-value validation.
  • nexus_5w2h_plans table — created lazily (fivew2h_install, CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS with static $installed; no migrations): id, task_id (VARCHAR 64, idx_task_id), project (default Geral), title, what_action, why_reason, where_location, when_deadline (DATETIME), who_responsible, how_method, how_much_cost (VARCHAR, default R$ 0,00), status, priority, created_by, created_at, updated_at (ON UPDATE CURRENT_TIMESTAMP); idx_project, idx_status, idx_who indexes; InnoDB utf8mb4_unicode_ci.
  • Save validation — What and Who required (PT messages); title fallback = first 80 chars of What; when_deadline via strtotime/date; status whitelist pending|in_progress|completed|cancelled; priority clamp 1–4 (default 2).
  • Task conversion (fivew2h_convert_to_task) — blocks re-conversion (existing task_id → returns the current link); Markdown description with the 7 formatted pillars (### 📋 Plano de Ação 5W2H + defaults Não especificado/Geral / Servidor/A definir/Seguir procedimentos padrão); [5W2H] <title> task with the plan's project/priority — via task_create() when available, otherwise direct INSERT (id task_+uniqid, seq = MAX(seq)+1, status pending); the plan gets task_id and in_progress status.
  • Listing (fivew2h_list) — project (≠ all), status, responsible filters and LIKE search over 5 fields; limit 1–100 (default 50), offset; returns total, items, unique responsibles (DISTINCT) and stats.
  • KPIs (fivew2h_stats) — total, pending, in_progress, completed, linked_tasks (plans linked to a task).
  • API: 8 actions (fivew2h_list, fivew2h_get, fivew2h_save, fivew2h_delete, fivew2h_convert, fivew2h_stats, fivew2h_settings, fivew2h_settings_save).
  • Fastr — /5w2h trigger (the manifest uses trigger, not command) → fivew2h_list.
  • Alpine.js UI (tab.php, 42 KB) — slate (gray) theme with emerald-600 (actions), indigo (convert) and amber (snippet) highlights; Gestão & Produtividade tab; 5 KPI cards (Total, Pending, In Progress, Completed, Converted to Task); 300ms-debounced search + status/responsible filters; plan cards with Convert to Task (only when not linked) and Copy Markdown Snippet; guided 7-pillar form (Who required in the form, What in the backend); settings (currency symbol, default project, auto-conversion); feedback toasts.
  • No i18n (Portuguese texts).

Operational result

  • Transparent delegation: every plan answers the 7 methodology questions with a required responsible (Who) and deadline (When).
  • 1-click conversion: the matrix becomes a NEXUS task with a formatted Markdown description of the 7 pillars — no manual rework.
  • Financial control: *How Much* field with configurable currency symbol and per-plan estimated-investment tracking.
  • Fast alignment: copyable Markdown snippets for emails and meetings.
  • Traceability: plan ↔ task link preserved (task_id), per-status KPIs and project/responsible filters.
  • No cron dependency: lazy schema install and on-demand conversion — no scheduled jobs.
  • /5w2h chat command.
